frist saw bob lee playing drums for backbiter in the early 90s. took them on a little nor-cal tour w/fIREHOSE. he reminded me of a guy w/the wail of keith moon. got to play w/him in the studio in '94 on "piss-bottle man" for my wrestling record.
comes february of '98 and hodge has to bail after doing the first opera tour. second leg is coming up for europe and who learns the whole damn piece in just two weeks? motherfuckin' bob fuckin' lee! this man is incredible, has such a mind for music. great man to be along w/too, always open to learn shit and check things out - loves to be curious about the tuneage. proud to have him poundin' for the black gang. he did the "hola marinaro" euro tour '98 , the "3rd time before the mast" tour '98 and the "puttin' the opera to bed" tour '98.
